Start yourself an RV handyman business! Go around repairing and prepping RV’s for clients! That’s the worse part of owning an RV... the prep and upkeep before your vacation even starts! Some weekends were spent wholly on prepping for the season! People will gladly pay ! Maybe even a small $50/mo contract to check on the unit weekly for leaks/issues that arise. There’s plenty of business in that area for sure!

Best wishes which ever way you end up going. I agree with you a text apology doesn't hold much water.

I would not go back no matter what they say via text or face to face. They are probably just trying to keep you on until they can find a replacement. Go enjoy life for a while and then find another adventure.

small jobs are okay, can't do a regular 40 hr week any more, here I worked at my schedule and got things done, seems my time mngmnt sucks according to them. lots more to it but no one calls me and talks to me the way he did, for dam sure not when I did exactly what they wanted.
lied to me about coming up, all of a sudden there are 2 families coming for the weekend, I was almost to sulphur springs and came back to find no one here.

that is just the tip of the iceberg.

example: been on me to get a roof over a sidewalk, got a carpenter I know to come do it, brought 2 helpers that looked to be homeless types. I took over and we got this done in 2 days. liked to have killed me but needed them gone. think one of them still managed to steal a trijicon red dot from owners bedroom but no proof other than it is gone. 8' by 20' porch cover, prepainted all the wood over 2 days.

Best of luck to you Hop. Know how you feel. Got fed up with spineless administrators in the public schools not standing up to disrespectful kids and their parents. Quit at the semester and took retirement.

I have a friend that does handyman type jobs at PK and he makes a good living. During the summer he gets people's boats ready for when they come down. He always has a plumbing or electrical job to do. With as many RV type parks as there are around Fork you should always have something to do. I am thinking you would be turning work away. Good luck
