Is it possible to view livescope with two 93sv' at the same time.

Right now I'm running a 93sv echo-map plus at the cockpit with the Garmin LVS32 mounted on a pole near the drivers console. Would like to have a screen at the front of the boat too. I bought an extra ram mount and Garmin cradle. My buddy I fish with also has a 93sv and usually fishes the bow of the boat. Thought he could bring along his unit to view up front.

If possible, what cables would be required?

Your info is correct. Although some have gotten away with just a standard $15 network router from Walmart/Best Buy, joined with Cat 5 cable. It's not water proof, but who cares, just buy another one for $15.... I bought the UHD SI/DownScan box which has 2 network ports and networked my two 93SV's together. If i did it again, I'd go with the cheapo $15 box. I never use SI or DS since I only use LVS for all my search needs. Oh well, lesson learned. Tim

you can control the livescope with it or the main unit at the same time.

I am liking this idea, anyone know if the resolution could be better on the tablet than on the garmin?

Really, on a 93sv, are you sure? This is new news to me. Do you have experience with this on a 93sv?

I have first hand experience this does not work. I bought one 93SV early on expecting this function to duplicate the screen. But after weeks of research and talking to Garmin, I realized it was not possible. I had to buy a network box and another 93SV to have one on each end of the boat. So I was surprised somebody sounded so confident that it was possible. I still don’t think things have changed since last year. It’s not possible unless somebody has direct experience, not speculation. Tim

It works great for me no glare on my tablet,
may have to have a different unit to link it thru
active captain. I am using the GPS 8612 unit
may not work with the 93 or ultra series

The 93's have had a significant price reduction since the UHD came out. I got a Cabela's sale flyer today that showed them at $600. I paid about $850 for mine a year ago.
