Last week I sent my Humminbird Onix 10ci SI in for repair due to an issue with the unit shutting off when the unit was shaken, like when the hit a wave or even slapping the unit on the top. I shipped the unit off last Tuesday and received a box back from Humminbird Thursday, a week later. I opened it up to find what appears to be a brand new Solix 10 Chirp MSI+ G2 with all of the hardware and new transducer!!! That kind of Customer Service is AMAZING and even though I’m a Humminbird fan, they just made it a lifetime customer! I can’t wait to get it installed and start setting it up! THANK YOU HUMMINBIRD!!!

Did you pay the $930.45 flat rate repair charge?

Wayne, I did pay the flat rate repair fee. OK, I sort of guessed that. The flat rate repair fee gets you a functioning unit back whether it is yours repaired or a replacement unit. Typically when they don't have parts to fix, you get the current equivalent model as a replacement.

I personally think that THAT is taking care of business the right way!!!
