You can save a few bucks by ditching the concrete block and using a plastic tub. Mix your concrete thick in the tub, install your pipe, then pour a little more water on top, it will soak in slowly and pipe shouldn't move. After drying for a couple of days, you can pop the tub off and ready to make another.

No...you need a tub...something shallow. You will never get the bucket off. It needs to be about a foot deep. Spray it with a cheap cooking spray on the inside before pouring concrete.

some good cheap painters plastic will keep the concrete from sticking to the bucket/tub. that way your wife doesn't get upset when the PAM turns up missing all the time!
