Between our broken boat trailer axle, my very busy work schedule, my wife’s work schedule, yearly training, doctor appointments, etc. we just have not been able to make it out. Until yesterday... We went to Fork and managed a double limit by 1pm. Fish were biting good until the weather started jacking with them. The last 10 were tough. We didn’t get any Fork monsters, but we managed a good meat run being it’s been about 2 months since we were on the water. Actually had a nice Crappie Dinner last night. ACC Crappie Stix Rods. (Bubbas Baits, Pepop, Fearless) Feather Jigs. 1/8 ounce. White Body with a Chartreuse Tail, Chartreuse Body with a Chartreuse Tail, Gray Body with a Royal Blue Tail, Purple Body with a Yellow Tail. 22 Feet of Water. Fish suspended on structure 15-16 Feet. As you can see still some barely over/under on the table. Friendly Reminder this Sunday March 1st back to 10 inch minimum for those fishing Fork. Female eggs are Days from spawning...not weeks...days. Tails On males were red. It’s about to pop off with the first wave for sure. Probably get to doing some cork fishing in next week or two. Felt good to be back on the water. Tight Lines to All.

Great report. Was just thinking to stock up on cigar floats for some shallow water crappie. Winds are forecasted at 25 mph at RC this saturday and Sunday so i think i will spend another weekend working on tackle and boat stuff.
