What is the best way to get rid of a 2013 equinox with 230,000 miles that needs a new engine ? Repair is more than the
car is worth, It is dead in the water at the chevy dealership in Dallas,
Are there auto salvage places that will buy it and come get it ?
I heard you could run a non running car thru the Auto Auction ?
other options ?

Give it to a farmer and let him park it in the field next to the other 6-8 cars, trucks and tractors he's keeping.

Flush/clean all the fluids out of it and push it into your favorite fishing lake to make your very own artificial reef/fishing spot.

Best bet is a salvage place. With what you have to offer with that many miles won't be woth much. With paying to get the vehicle to an auction along with the sell fees you wouldn't get much if anything in the end. A salvage place can make you an offer knowing they will have to go pick it up.
