Been struggling to catch fish here in POC, I have a good buddy coming into town and I am really wanting to put him on some fish. Any spots or places where fish have been holding would be welcomed. Thank in advance.

My dad and I are heading to POC next week for the first time. Neither of us have done any bay fishing before but we’re gonna give it a try.

Don't over think it.
If you don't see activity, keep moving. If you see pelicans working (not sitting) in an area, it's worth a look. If the suns out, they'll be shallower than you think.

I’d tell you if you see ANY bait this time of year to try and fish it. Not much bait left from all winter, so if you see any, there should be fish close by.

Back lakes or if there’s mud on the chain of islands would probably be good. Maybe try to coast guard flats with some good tidal movement. If cold, probably Army Hole.

Have y’all ever fished boggy this time of year? Have had some success in the summer there but never tried the winter
