I do not feel LA should be awarded the WS. F that. However it does not belong to Houston. They are still without one.
Good luck this season.
I agree - you can't give it to a team that didn't win it. You also can't give it to a team that cheated to win it. No champion that year in my book. MLB should strip the trophy and rings and make it official, if they have any cojones at all.

So we ban Pete Rose for life for somethat that legitimately didn't impact the game, we ban the black sox for life for something that did impact the game, and the Astros players blatantly, intentionally cheat and get nothing?
Strip the rings and trophy. No champion that year. I don't care if you suspend the players or not - that would be enough to deter this type of activity in the future IMHO. I think a lot of these athletes saying "I'm mad they players weren't punished" "Wah Wah Wahh" are forgetting that players were given immunity. That is why they cooperated with the investigation, if they weren't given immunity, potentially none of this comes to light. . They weren't exactly bashful about it. Ban the ones who were obviously involved. If a few hid it and didn't get caught, I'd still rather see a few punished than none. Nobody is crying. These guys worked their butt off for 20+ years to make it to the pros. Blatant, intentional cheating ruining the career they've spent a lifetime preparing for is unfair, and they have every right to be upset. Listening to stros fans defend this is like listening to democrats defend socialism. We both know you're turning your brain off to support it - just keep some shred of intellectual credibility and be honest about it. What are you talking about? Altuve not wanting his jersey ripped off in 2019? Please don't tell me your on the buzzer band wagon.  I'm not defending what the Astros did. I don't think most true Astro fans are...

The media and fans will be giving the Astros a hard time about this for decades. If the Astros have a slow start to the season, it will be bad. But if they come out swinging and jump to a 6-10 game lead in the AL West, it will shut most of the haters who actually know baseball up. The people like Dan will continue to cry cause that is just how they are.

Can I just say this: baseball is more than just batting, isn't it? You still have to bat yourself, pitch the other team, field balls, make plays... If the Astros cheated in one aspect of the game, how then did they still manage to win one series and almost win a second?

Can I just say this: baseball is more than just batting, isn't it? You still have to bat yourself, pitch the other team, field balls, make plays... If the Astros cheated in one aspect of the game, how then did they still manage to win one series and almost win a second? Cheating in half of the game is a major head start. Nobody said they would stink if they didn’t cheat. They had a very good team. Cheating helped put them over the top. It doesn’t mean they were otherwise terrible. Razor thin margins make the difference in the playoffs.
