Nothing like it but sometimes the bigguns don't come that day. Have faith and they will sooner or later. Look how much better you did than most others.

You are to blame for my addiction . I had caught catfish all my life but just eating size fish mostly to till about 10 or so years ago when some of your post got me hooked .

Oh yeah after a person catches a few it is an addiction. I still liked to catch em but have great joy for others catching a record or PB. You are into it and it will prove out with you catching several record blues. You have a great running partner also, a necessity.

You put the time and the effort in and so you are rewarded. As far as Jackie Kennedy is concerned, his influence on me and my family on catching big trophy fish can not be overstated. He IS the GODFATHER of trophy catfishing to me and countless others. He is the best example of what a fishing guide should be, he teaches if you want to be taught. Listening to him on the boat is like having a mixture of Will Rogers and Jerry Clower sitting in the boat with you. And, besides all that, he is just a great guy... Book a trip with him and you will understand.

WTG Dewayne! Where did you learn how to planer board? Your on fire amigo! I had seen an an article on it 4 or 5 years ago and bought a set but used them only side drifting with the wind . Then my buddy Morris bought a new boat about 3 and 1/2 years ago and that’s when we got into it more with using the trolling motor He had a rack built to go across the back of the boat and built some planer boards and took it to another level.
