Doc was right. It was pretty bland and very meh. The fries were mushy and cold, only took me 5 mins to get back to the office. That bummed me out. Chicken was nicely cooked but bland. The "toast" was mushy, the slaw was like eating mayo. Only had one bite of it. The sauce is pretty good but not the best sauce ever.

One of the Security Guards here mentioned Slim Chickens being MUCH better than Canes. He was raving on it big time. He said its one block from our building. Guess I have just never seen it but I will try that next Saturday maybe. Anyone tried Slim Chickens?

When I lived in Dallas a number of years ago, there was a Cowboy Chicken right around the corner from my townhouse. Loved their chicken and it was a great alternative to the fried chicken places on every corner. Don’t even know if they are still around.

Cowboy’s rotisserie chicken used to be consistently great. They have slipped off their once high standards and can be occasionally on the dry side these days

I think you should try Stickyribzbbq beer can chicken (close to your work) and report back.

Never heard of Slim Chickens all we have here is Bushes, Chicken Express, Golden Chick, Chicken Express is my Favorite of those!!
