Just curious, is there any access allowed behind the dam on this lake.. Never been there, just looking for possible places to go behind dams that near me.

They shut fishing down behind RC because as usual people did dumb things, like making camp fires on the metal grates that burned up the wiring. They also had to keep replacing lights because crowds of inexperienced casters kept wrapping their heavy slabs around the light poles. Fishing in the waters below the bridge has never been allowed, at the time, only on the metal pier.

Can you still get behind the dam in Navarro Mills? I believe so, now would be a good time to check it out and if nothing is going on there then you still have Brushy Creek and Wolf creeks to fish.
