No doubt! No wonder guys are trying to divert anglers to other lakes, they want to hog the Rayburn fish too themselves. I think I’ll be heading to Rayburn soon too!

No seriously. Lake is far from on fire. Its fishing really tough compared to what it should be.

Same here, night fishing on Rayburn and caught a healthy looking 5+, before I could get it back in the water it was dead. I'm talking about not even a muscle twitch. There must be a small spot if you hook them, they instantly die. It was also on a Tx rig. Caught several hundred before and after and never had another one do that.

If you want to know where the giants hang out on Rayburn, ask the old timers who run trot lines, I have a couple of buddies over there that have caught several 10+ on trot lines.
Looks like you Rayburn boys are about to have some more company! Lol

Congrats to the lucky angler!

Heck of a Fish, congrats to Mr Joe.

A once in a lifetime fish if you're lucky.
After this next round of cool rain and weather gets past us the fishing is going to be on fire at most of the lakes all across Texas.

Can't wait! banana

Slide right, coming in .... Fish On!

Great fish!!!
also a good point!
sometimes fish die and nothing can be done. I get a kick out of the ones that treat these fish like mythical unicorns and bash others when a fish dies in their possession.
as old as that fish is, her genes have been spawned in the lake for a while now.

Ya it's pretty freaking good right now. I know several guides on choke catching 50-100 a day

How much longer would a 15lb bass live before dying from old age?
