I have a Hotwoods mini pontoon boat with stock aluminum flooring. For comfort, I am considering having vinyl flooring installed. Deck is simple rectangular layout with deck space 13 foot long and 6 feet wide. No consoles or storage boxes to work around, just 4 floor mounted seat pedestals that would need to remain in place because they are bolted thru floor to underside of deck. Not up to date on how flooring is measured or installed, is this something that an installer can put in with one piece but still have a precise, finished edge surrounding the pedestal bases? I have heard about laser measured templates, is this something widely used now? Any thoughts on best place to have this done south of DFW area or in Corsicana, Tyler, Waco area?

Thank you for the great info, but terrible at DIY projects and old, bad knees keep me from doing it myself. Needing to have it done by professional installer.
