Went yesterday by myself and I guess all the rain had the bait broke up into smaller schools. It took me about 1 hour to finally get enough bait to go fishing. I ended up with mainly 7-8 inch shad, the bigger ones where hard to find but I did end up with a couple. Set up on my first drift and doubled up on a 43 pounder and a 3 pounder about 30 minutes into the drift. Then about 30 minutes later got a 20. Ha [Linked Image]

d 1 more good take down but the hook didn't connect. Then nothing else for about 30 more minutes so I decided to circle around for another drift. Got set up on a good drift again and started getting a bunch of box fish bites right off. About 30 minutes into the drift had 2 rods get smoked and reeled down on both of them and got the hooks set. Got the first one in the boat and then it was onto fish number 2, about 50 feet behind the boat the fish splashed and the hook came flying out. It looked to be bigger than the one I got in the boat which was 28, but I will never know. All fish had be to burped so I stopped my drift thinking me might float up but he never did so I guess he burped on his own. Continued my drift with a few more bites then it was time to go in. While reeling in my lines I had another rod get slammed harder than any hits I have had yet and I reeled down and got him in and it was 34. The fish was insane, peeling drag and tangling lines. I thought it was a monster. Great way to end the day.

Just want to make folks smile, and spit coffee on their keyboard.

If you put beans in your chili, you don't know beans about chili.

God doesn't create temporary people, you will spend eternity somewhere. Choose wisely.

5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
