What he did was obviously wrong and bad, but I honestly believe that QB crossed the line and Pouncey got off light.

6 games seems a bit light for removing a QBโ€™s helmet and hitting him with it... itโ€™s game, they are supposed to be professional not juvenile

I know this is a odd question but what started the whole thing, late hit, words said to each other, what?

They are football players. Not saints, or role models.

Correct. I've looked but can't find the footage that led up to the helmet swing.

You could tell Rudolph was jawing at him while he was on his back and Garrett was on top. Rudolph tried to grab Garretts helmet and pull it off but couldn't.

Early in the season, prior to this event, I was taking in a Browns game due to all the hype. In that game he had multiple personal fouls on the QB, it caused me to come back to the office and inquire to the local Aggie in the office whether or not Garrett had a reputation of being a dirty player. He convinced me that wasn't the case, which was easy because I could careless about Aggie football and hadn't watched much of any of his career. While provoked, I think this event answers my question.
