Well, 3.5 years went by and time to change out the two trolling motor deep cycle batteries and 1 starting/cranking battery. $470. Lead acids seem to be creeping up in price. But it's done, now I need a nice day to run the boat out. Please pray for nice weather.

I thought about the AGMs but have had a bad experience with them on the Automotive side. They seem to be more expensive too, but if you tell me you get 3 years out of the 31's I would consider them next time. The AGMS by Motorcraft suck real bad. My blood pressure goes up just thinking about it.

lithiums need to be a lot cheaper. It is a chunk of change no matter how you look at it. Two 31's and One 24 for me.

Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.

Three new Everstart Maxx 29s for my trolling motor every three years weather they need it or not. Haven't had one go bad in a long time.
I hate photobucket.

Duracell AGM's from Sams Club. How do they do as starting batteries? Their dual purpose so no issues. I run two 9" and a 7" graph all day along with livewells and stereo. Never an issue in two years now.

Iām going to have to replace all 5 batteries in the next year or so. Not looking forward to that expense.
Team wolfs I had to perform. It took a minute to get it all in my mouth and another five to swallow it all.

I had great service out of the Exide Stowaways from Academy, but they don't sell them anymore. They've switched over to Interstates, which I did buy but they didn't have the 31's I wanted so I bought all 3 from the Interstate store in Rockwall.

There's a little lake close to me that's electric motors only. One of the best smallmouth lakes in the country. Some of those guys are running four 36 volt trolling motors and a couple of batts for electronics and livewells. 14 batteries.
