Yes. I doubt we will know that definitively in my lifetime but, I believe there is intelligent life outside of our solar system.

Absolutely yes.
Is there any chance whatsoever of us encountering it? No. Because the universe is too vast.
And absolutely zero chance of it showing up and doing butt stuff to some drunk/stoned redneck in the woods.

Tell us about it, please. short version Graford, TX deer hunting 5AM Late 1980's I was on the edge of the field, with my back to the creek. It was pitch black. From out of nowhere came a giant light. It did not come gradually it was just there. I was going to look at it through my scope, but instead crawled backwards into the creek. I think that was a good choice. I know they could still see me though. It was huge like 4 basketball courts. An oval though. Really luminant also. We came in for breakfast & I asked my friend what he saw. He flipped out & said "I didn't see anything, there wasn't anything out there." He said it 3 times in a row. Really fast too. Looking back, I think they did something to him. It was real.
