Well I had a rough day. Lost a really nice one at the boat fairly early in the morning and then my partner and I only caught one keeper each after that.

Scoop...well considering I did not pre-fish and the time of year and water temp we just looked for where the girls might stage on their highway to spawning areas. Fished really, really slow. I caught the first which was the 8.92 pounds and about 5 casts after that one my partner boated a 5ish pounder. Only had seven bites all day with six quality keepers and one broke off. Never really had a bite after 1:00 pm. Just started out the day considering conditions and such, but knowing the lake fairly well, knew what to look for using my electronics. Pretty much sums it up!! Congratulations to all in RHBC and it was great to be back fishing with this Club. See everyone at Palestine!! Another one of my favorites.

Our game plan was in the toilet pretty early. Could not catch them the way we did in practice. Guess they were not happy with the cold weather this week. Water temps were down 4-5 degrees from a week ago. Went to Plan G and finesse fished the rest of the day and managed a respectable limit of 13.28 and got 8th out of 42. There were three bags over 20 including Mr Cartwright's and big bass was a 9.13, so there were some good fish biting

We had a rough day. Caught 4 good keepers on jerkbaits and lost a 5-6 that would have given us our 5th. That was it for the entire day. All jerkin! We finished with just under 11 pounds and no clue on place. Had we landed that fish, I think we would have been at least 16-17 pounds....That hurts.
