Why do these steers bring such a high price? Is it all theatrics?

Why do these steers bring such a high price? Is it all theatrics? sort of, money goes to the kid that raised the animal. a lot of politics in these sales, a co. or individual wants braggin rights to pump up business etc. all good since the kid gets the money.

Thats kinda what I figured. Spread the wealth, hype the business and bring in money and interest to farming. Congrats to those kids.
