Poll had a three way tie Closest proximity to my house = Ray Roberts The campsites at Ray Roberts have very good facilities and can be busy. Isle du Bois is the most popular, especially with families, so maybe not there. That leaves the Jordan Unit and Johnson Branch. The Johnson Branch is the most remote, so is the best choice for us. There are multiple RV parks at Ray Roberts and the upper scale Lone Star lodge; There is one nice cabin at Slye Ranch for couples only. As far as timing, March--could get a weird, nasty cold front. April--looks like OT tourney May--last chance to avoid 100+ weather and summer crowds. Full moon in May is Monday the 18th. The weekend before that would be the 14th to 17th. Initial plan is May 14th to the 17th at Johnson Branch lake Ray Roberts. This is still the time of year where we can get freakish three day thunderstorms, so location and dates can change at the last minute.

Since I will be out of the country at this time and I want to fish Texoma before I go, I will go there. I will get a cabin where we did last time, those were super nice. Can someone remind me of the name of that joint?
I will let yall know when I am going to go, likely late March or early April. If anyone wants to go you should!
Not an official OT GTG trip though...Therefore there can be no drama. If you want to go, this is where I will be and when. See your or maybe not.
No polls, no crying, no ratz hijacking, no Fork BS, no Frank saying he will go but we know he wont.... it will be simple, like the GTG's of old when it just Doc and I 90% of the time and we actually CAMPED. Like in tents, with lanterns and bugs and with raccoons stealing our food and [censored] lol I am not doing that though... cabin; with satellite tv and showers, a stove and nice soft bed is nice. What did I hijack

Jordan Unit? Sounds like a prison, so might be appropriate especially if Ratz hijacks it and brings his moonshine.

Sounds like a plan. Almost have a tournament trail going with Ray Bob in May and Texoma in April.

I was looking forward to going to Ivie, but you bunch of stupid hicks had to pick another [censored] north Texas lake.
Team wolfs I had to perform. It took a minute to get it all in my mouth and another five to swallow it all.

Ivie was obviously my first choice; and if at all possible, I'll be driving out there for a weekend trip. Will be sure to let you know. I'd be good with Hubbard Creek also.

It's a few miles West of Pampa, the state bought land from my wife's family to build it on. Named after Rufe Jordan a legendary lawman from the panhandle.
