Im looking for a used kayak in good cond I would prefer one that is set up for fishing although I might want to take it out for pleasure or scouting for spots anybody?

I have a Mainstream Kingfish that I will be selling possibly as soon as tomorrow (I hope to travel to Houston to pick up my new yak today) It is 12' 31" wide and ready to fish. I have had this boat btb on summer vacation and chasing striper on Texoma. Great starter boat does nothing great but all aspects good enough.

anyone have a used yak they wouldnt mind loaning me? I was planning to buy a boat sometime this year but a future trip to iraq is going to postpone that idea til next year, so I'll wait to buy my boat then. In the meantime, I always fish lake arlington for cats(yeah Im not impressed w/there size either) but fishing to me is just about catching them regardless. anyway, if you have a second and fish somewhere near arlington and have a second yak I wouldnt mind heading out w/you. If your still looking, I have a Mainstream Stalker. If you scout, then I would think you hunt. I have used this for scouting, hunting and fishing with my kids.

It is a 2 man yak that the front seat moves back and forth in, so you can center your weight. I am 6'2" and 250# so it will hold some weight. I have put 7 dozen dekes, 2 guns and my misc bags of mojo's on it and yakd a couple miles down some of the creeks I hunt and fish in.

Anyway, if your still looking, let me know. It is not set up to fish out of, but I have, and my kids have with me. So, you can set it up however you feel you need it, not the way I needed it.
