these guys are crazier than the guys on the normal show. They have no knife, tools or anything, but the clothes on their back. Oh and they killed a musk ox for them to use/eat.

I watched the one with the girl and 2 guys that had the moose. One guy bowed out after 3 days because of a cold, the other after 10 days because he missed his family. She made it 30 days fending off bears (which was unrealistic).

Nothing but the clothes on your back, tough.

Are these guys filming themselves, or is there a film crew out there getting all those shot angles?

Les Stroud rip offs all of them. He insists he is the only person who has ever done this "for real". The rest all get help and/or have a safety net of some kind. That dude did that stuff with no cell phone, no crew, no nothing. He basically invented the selfie.

Really can't watch these shows. They're always whining and complaining that they're hungry or this or that's going on while they're actively sitting on food. I end up yelling at the tv after the 5th time they're whining that they're starving to death or the bugs are eating them alive, while they're actively pushing the plants that'd solve the issue out of the way.
