I was thinking about using the Arkie or arkey head. Don’t hold me to it because I haven’t tried it.

Just make sure direction of hook eye so the split ring will line up with blade. It needs to be a flat eye.

I was actually hoping to open up the hook eye and attach the blade directly.

Poison tail or arky will both work. I use the poison swing tail and cut the wire from on the bottom. It is easier than bending out the eye. It make a swing tail vibrating jig though. It vibrates alot, but does not have much action on the body. It does hunt like crazy with a fluke or straight tail trailer

I use the casting jig from do it. The eye is out on front of the head so you have room to open it up for your blade. I have made and used many and have had no issues. If you want to slow roll a 1/2 ounce I use turbo blade.

The Sparkie Head jig mold is the one I use - the version without the weedguard holes... Model - JKS-1080A
