Ok I need a little help. I bought a boat here a couple weeks ago and having problems getting the trailer registered. The guy I bought the boat from neglected to tell me that the trailer was salvaged. His son apparently jack knifed the truck and bent the swing away tongue, and the insurance company totaled it, and he bought it back and had the tongue welded back on. Anyone have any ideas on which way to go ?

He should be able to give you all the paperwork so you can go to the DMV where they’ll help you. He should have the salvage paperwork and prior registration. You can also call DMV in Austin and they’ll tell you what you need to do.
The only difference between a little girls scream and a warrior's battle cry is the direction your'e running!

It will probably be reclassified to home made. I have a homemade utility trailer. The only diff between it and my other trailers it cannot be registered online. has to be in person or mailed. One of the 3 letters I mail all year.
