I agree the Cup going away effected some guys(friends of mine) and myself for that matter. The Costa guys & All American winner knew the Cup went away BEFORE the championship. Only the TBF winner was effected after he won. I believe they should have somehow been compensated but they knew before the event that the Cup was no more. Also this was a buy out if an organization, like it or not new ownership can change what they want to better structure an organization. I like Andrew but his facts are wrong. The Cup vs The Championship are not identical. They are not the same format. Cup was 3 days 5 fish a day. Championship is MLF style. How refreshing to have an actual FLW Tour angler jump on here and tell it how it is..... with firsthand knowledge of how it all went down instead of all the hearsay. Also worth noting he had a solid finish on Rayburn.  Keep at em Biggs! Too bad he isn’t appearing to be in the corner of the anglers that are just like him. When it happens to him, I wonder how he will feel about being ripped off and about anglers who could care less he got burned. I disagree that they or anyone knew “BEFORE” - actually, they found out during practice or day 1-2 of the Costa championship officially because that’s when the sale closed and it was announced. The fact of the matter is, they should have been told before event #1 back in early 2019 because it was likely known already since sales talks had already commenced. When a tournament organization collects 100% of fees and dues for a year/season and then doesn’t pay out 100% of the promised competition purse money for that same year/season - what’s it called?

SO i'M watching day 4 of the tourny on Sam Rayburn and here is a quot from FLW fishing
" We've gone over and over and over this. But OK. Once again... The FLW CUP and the FLW TOUR were not part of the acquisition by MLF.
They no longer exist. They were never purchased by MLF."
??? If this is so, what did they purchase and how is the MLF responsible ?
By the way BIg O you sound just like Josh Endsley on the chat going during the broadcast .
They might have said that the FLW CUP and the FLW Tour was not part of the acquisition, but several times during the tournament the MC said "He has won X# of $'s fishing with US on the FLW Tour." Several times he also called it the FLW Tour and not the FLW Pro series. He made it sound like they are one in the same. [u][/u] That’s because they are one in the same. Same people, same office locations, same infrastructure, etc... the same people who made the decision to shaft all those anglers are still sitting in the same offices they were when the decision was made.

How does FLW feel about airbags at the bottom of lakes, to combat lower lake levels in the times of drought? If they could install this new airbag system would you like them more? We are you avoiding me? We need these answers.

Sounds to me like the anglers that got screwed out of their $10,000 for qualifying for the Cup, should get together, hire a Lawyer on contingency and file a Civil suit...
Require a whole lot of luck...
