expect 8 hours of running, and 4 hours of fishing. kings, ling, snapper, beeliners, triggerfish, spadefish...etc. look at this guy . www.reelthreel.com - smaller faster boat(more fishing time), place to stay on the water with lighted docks to fish off of at night...

We fished a private charter a couple weeks ago but this guy brought a lot of fish in: http://www.galveston.com/captjohn/They go way out 40 to 50 miles. He has reports on the web each day so you can see what they caught. The other party boats that got back early didn't catch squat.

I have been with Mike on Reelthreel, but probably wouldn't go again. Capt John is a goood boat out of Galveston. I have been on it several times. BridgeBait in surfside is a fun place to hang out and there are lots of guides that put in and out there. Private guides are considerably more expensive.
