Im not asking for any secret spots or waypoints, just general information would be a great help. Ive never even seen the lake, but going to be going down there for a few days. I was wondering if anyone wants to point me in the right direction as far as what to expect. Temps/clairity/ baits(if you can spare it Ill be fishing for largemouth and launching out of the north side. Thanks!

Everyone has been doing well throwing crank baits on the rocks. If you're putting in up north you can hit 1375 road bed, Calvery Road by Stowaway, 1097 road bed, and if you wanna make the run south you can hit the Dam. Water temp was 55* last Friday up north, (Main Lake at the Dam is currently 51.6*) there may be some staging fish up North by now, but there wasn't any to be had on Friday.

Everything I caught yesterday was around 10 feet, +/- a couple of feet. Caught them on a crankbait or a black shaky head, I stayed south of 1097, water temp was 53. I fished shallow some but no bites. Caught around ten total, nothing big, biggest maybe 3 1/2 pounds. I didn’t get out until 1030, fished until 5:30. I’m not very good on Conroe so my experience yesterday might be pretty worthless.
Be careful up north, lots of stumps and lake is a couple feet low.
