Elite Series anglers Chris Zaldain & Caleb Sumrall add to the Carhartt team Simms got Erhler and Paniuk back after they left for another brand for a couple of years. I think I saw where they also added John Cox to the team this year as well

Not that It matters to me what they run cuz it has no impact on what I buy but I love reading up on what changes every year. This thread should be a yearly thing. I love it. I agree. The business side of the bass fishing industry is very interesting to me. I don't know how I got on their email list, but one of my favorite emails each week is from Best on Tour, "The Business News of Fishing". I look forward to it every week. Thanks for sharing. I really enjoy the business side of the sport too.
Grateful for every sunrise and sunset I get to witness. - Jason

Huk has two or three losses, I wonder what happened there ? Did Aftco money whip the guys , or as companies do, did HUK just streamline their budget.

HUK is one of the sponsors for the new TTO big money trail.....maybe they are investing more in grassroots, local and regional stuff. You might start seeing more and more companies spending a bigger part of their advertising budgets on grassroots level.

Does anyone actually buy anything because the " pros " use it? No way! If a pro is using/selling it then buyer beware!!! Cheers, George

Ark Fishing adds 3 to staff. Elite Series angler Gerald Swindle will be using their rods. Bass Pro Tour anglers Brett Hite & Brent Ehrler will be using their tungsten.
I'll be honest, I didn't know they offered tungsten weights.

I'll be honest, I didn't know they offered tungsten weights. When I first read it I was a bit stunned as I assumed Erhler and Hite were switching rods. I know Erhler is in strong with Daiwa and Hite is a longtime Evergreen guy. Then I saw tungsten only.
