I had the pleasure of fishing with Bobcat1 and crappielovinfool today at Ray Roberts we had a blast fishing for crappie and it was a day full of laughs. We ended up with a full limit of 50 but we caught between 150 and 200 all together. We caught fish most every place we tried, we caught most of the numbers on minnows but alot of the bigger fish came off jigs. Hey Roger I won't bring up the 2 huge drums you caught  "OOPS" LOL. Thanks again guys, I will be looking forward to fishing with yall again. Cliff

Yep that Cliff is a heck of a guide. At first my brother was catching lots of fish and I wasn't. My guide let out 8 feet of line and we fixed that! I had the best time I have had in years. Folks, take it from me, Cliff is THE guide if you want to catch fish. I am wore plum out. I guarantee you we caught 200 fish. My side hurts from laughing. I got all kinds of holes from hooks in my hands and cuts from braided line. I learned a lot today and that was what we went for. The 5 quart bags of filets is just icing on the cake. I met his dad and wife and I believe his sister. These are some real hospitible folks. My brother is the drum king. He also holds the distinct honor of winning Smallest fish of the day. He outfished me though. I promise you Cliff I am bringing my wife in September during the week and I will have a ball just watching you help her fish. See ya soon my new friend! You are the Crappie Master! P.S. If you think Cliff ain't good, he did this all today with no trolling motor. Broke first time he used it today. Sorry about breaking the tip of that Wally Marshall "settin' the hook" on the bass.

Thanks Bobcat1 Im glad to have you as a new friend . By the way you can quit feeling bad about the rod now, I done replaced it , BPS swapped it out. I fixed the cable on my trolling motor today as well. So shoot Im ready to go fishing again . I will be heading up to Texoma in a while to go eat some mudbugs and crappie, I think I will eat mainly crappie. I quess I will have to wait a while longer to test out the brush piles at Texoma, I just ran out time and the wind isn't to good eather.

Hawkster,Your not kiddin. We had a low pressure system sittin on us, with a cold front the day before. All indicators for me not to even untarp my boat, cuz fishin would be tough! The night before I thought it was gonna sure be some pressure on Cliff to produce, but you already know the guy, so no need to tell you! You already know as well as I do now. Cliff is something else! Man, what a guide! Ill book again for sure. What a learning experience!! Again...GREAT TIME!!!

With a TON of patients might I add! I think he had to unhang my son's jig at least 40 times that day!
