Had my buddy Richard (Wink) from the Houston area on Lake Palestine with me again.
Let me tell you the fun meter was pegged out on this trip. This young mans personality and attitude are always maxed out. You can’t help but being in a good mood hanging around this guy. And to top it off he loves God and is a brother in Christ.
This is Winks third trip with me. It’s awesome to see how much he as learned and improved crappie fishing. As a guide this is one of may favorite things to see in my clients.
I think is save to say he’s in love with crappie fishing now. And there’s nothing wrong with that.
Thank you for the awesome fellowship and friendship Buddy.
Timber pattern again in 24 to 32 foot of water. With fish suspended at 16 to 24 foot deep. Fish aren’t everywhere they’re real scattered.
Before Livescope I’ve Heard they always bunch up in the winter time. I’m seeing just the opposite this winter. And that’s the way it’s been on all the lakes I have fish this winter.
Wink caught his fish on the famous BoneHead Tackle Stump Bugs in white lighting and night stick. And using a Bonehead 10 foot Rod.
Guys spring time is just around the corner. And my book is starting to fill up. This is the time of the year we catch some of our biggest crappie. If you’re needing to fill that thump give me a call.
