unless you're going to fish Kona (so I'm told), it's better to just do touristy things. If you do fish, be prepared that any eating fish are kept by the captain to be sold.

Hooked up sportfishing out of Kona. These guys work really hard to get you on the fish. Very friendly and extremely knowledgeable.

We would just walk the marina and find a captain. It is easy to talk with anglers in the area and find a good captain.

What island? Boat or shoreline?
Traveled the World diving & fishing. Became a ranked billiard player in Asia. Won a few senior bowling tournaments. I travel to the US, Australia & Europe working with museums & doing educational lectures.
