I have been told venison and elk heart fried are very good. I am not a fan of organs but would try a bite. beef hearts and chicken hearts are good too.

I have a debit card and a cash stash in my wallet and I'm never more than 15 minutes from a burger and a beer. No reason to eat road kill.

I won't eat possum or coon. no organ meat. I have had possum and coon, both were on the greasy side and I hope I never have to eat one again. As for rabbit, we raised our own and ate a lot of it. Had it fried, stewed and rabbit and dumplings, my mom could make the fried look and taste like fried chicken.

i ate a lot of cat in this Chinese buffet place in Batavia New York it was discovered in the freezer during an inspection
it was really good Why am I not surprised that you ate cats? I will not eat dogs or monkeys, about anything else I would give a try once. Dog is mans best friend, you dont eat your friends. Monkey is like a man, you dont eat men. Pretty sure thats in the bible. The rest... its fair game.

Monkey is like a man, you dont eat men. Pretty sure thats in the bible. The rest... its fair game. Interesting. I grew up with an aunt that could make an old boot taste like heaven's own manna. There was a rule that whatever my cousins shot, they had to at least try to eat. I've had coon, armadillo, possum, bear, gator, javelina, snapping turtle, softshell turtle, just about any kind of goat / sheep / ungulate that you want to think up and more I know I'm forgetting. About the only thing she truly failed with that even the dogs wouldn't eat was mullet. When you spend enough time on a farm watching the critters, you get to see that all animals are intelligent in their own way. A cow or a goat or a pig is just as smart as a dog, so why do we separate one that is special that we don't eat, and the others we do? I can remember many times of goats figuring out puzzles that you didn't want them to, just because they were there. Or watching the cows how there's one nanny cow that watches the babies while the rest eat, then the mamas would come back and the nanny would switch out duty. I had a chicken that would chase you down to ride into town in the truck. I guess I didn't get that whole disgust from eating something weird. Or if it's a social class "I'm too good to eat poor people food" we came from poor and that knowledge they had to know to survive is my greatest treasures. All things that live, want to live. They don't want to become dinner. I fully acknowledge that for meat to be on my plate, a living, thinking being has to die. I may not seek it out and kill it myself, but if someone prepares a dish and offers it to me, who am I to turn my nose up at it? If I don't like it, that's fine. But I'm not going to call their offering "disgusting".

I had some snapping turtle cooked in a black pot over a fire, with all kinds of spices in it, it was pretty dang good, not much meat there though.

Snapping turtle, but I don't know whether it was the turtle or the spices that made it so good.

If the animal/meat was handled correctly at the time of butchering, I would eat pretty much anything - monkey, horse, dog, cat, lion, owl. Not a fan or liver/hearts/gizzards. Face meat is delicious. Some fish and animals that live in the ocean are just weird, I'd probably draw the line with something like a manatee or penguin.

I will try most anything once. If properly cooked. Many things I won’t eat again though. Coon, possum, Buffalo the fish, carp Texture is more important now.
Ephesians 4:4-6 KJV
4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
