Looking at going out to Palo Pinto to chase some blues for the first time.

With the water temps being in the low 50's would you work the shallow flats (2-3') on the west side of the lake, or fish the main river channel at the dam in the deeper water (@25')

Was out there a couple of weeks ago chasing crappie, and graphed a bunch of small groups of shad in the deep water but never saw much action like anything was feeding.

Anyone have any advise out there?
