It's about the season of the year when the crappie go shallow to spawn and this is the time to catch a boat load of those tasty panfish on the fly!

Pretty neat little fly. Been tying up a mess of similar stuff for the upcoming whitebass runs and for crappie. Did a few with lead dumbells for jigging with a spinning rod too. Cant wait to try them out once the rain moves out.

This is what I am tying up for them and have few with lead dumbbells like I mentioned for spinning gear buddies. So far the black ones with lead eyes have been working from crappie docks at night.
