They said the heck with guardrails and cable catches and just built a wall on I30 east of Royce City. Not sure why they needed something that high. I remember when they first put the barriers up on 175 between 45 and 20. The neighborhood strays were use to crossing the highway unimpeded. For months their carcass's littered the highway. I would also to see people sitting on the wall waiting to run across. Not so much now.
