I was watching Big Foot special on TV this evening claiming he was the first to build a monster truck. Not true, I too was stationed at Ft. Hood in the 70's and remember well when there was a Specialist 4 stationed here that had King Kong painted orange before there was Big Foot. https://www.facebook.com/KingKongTrucks/

Growing up a young poor redneck I saw both of them at tractor pulls in San Antonio. I remember big foot being years before King Kong. I will admit my memory is foggy on that though.
