Just curious what the OT thinks is the primary reason twin and triplet threads get started with the same title? I’m not referring to similar threads that don’t share apparent subjects in the title.

When the title is nearly the same, I’m wondering if it’s often limited viewing real estate on mobile devices. What do you think?

Some find it too hard to read before posting. Some even outright admit that what you say is meaningless and they won't read it. Like "I didn't take time to read this whole thread but I really wanted to interject my $.02 anyway, because after all my opinion is the only one that matters to me".

I'm amazed the same individuals post similar responses to duplicate threads.

Maybe there should be a poll on how they post duplicate responses:

1) Cut and Paste
2) Re-type
3) Other

Most of the time it’s because they either didn’t quickly glance at other threads to see if they may be duplicating or someone posted on a topic with a subject line that doesn’t really call out what the subject of the thread is.

Someone just same titled themselves. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen that before. Might have to add an answer to your poll.
