Forney BC will have 20-23 boats I would think. How about the other clubs? Certainly looks to be crowded.

Fished Brandy on the 8th......to put it mildly it kinda sucked...I think we had about 8-10 bites in 6hrs. Nothing over 2 1/2lbs. They were not generating. Water was around 55-57 degrees.
Sadly Martin Creek was even worse today. Only fished it for about 4hrs and had about half the bites as Brandy. Water was 63-82 there and 2 stacks were going. Literally never marked bait or many fish at either. Spinnerbaits, drop shots and shakyheads did the best. Doubt i will waste another trip to either this year.

McKinney Bass Club will be on Martin and Brandy 1/25 and 1/26 Looking like we may be fishing Martin and Welsh since the stacks at Brandy haven't been running and may not be come time for MBC weekend.

I fished BB hard all day Wednesday 1/8 and half day 1/9. Wednesday morning air temps were in the low 30's, plant NOT running and water temps in the mid 50's. I caught 1 fish (nice 5 pounder however). On Thursday morning the air temps were in the mid-50's, the plant WAS running and outlet was in the 70's but cloudy and rain. Caught one fish. Saw tons of beds with no bass on them. I think those bass are just too confused to know what to do!

We caught between 50 and 60 there two weeks ago. The fish are not where you think they would be.

I have seen a few giants in there. Only reason I would ever make the trip there is to sight fish

Looks like the fishing was slow as well. For me personally it was some of the toughest days I have had on those lakes. Someone always figures them out but it sure was not us last week.
