San Andreas fault is the answer to all California’s problems, if fact it’s the whole country’s answer! hmmm

it's a problem up and down the whole coast. In the LA area the beaches would close for at least a few days after heavy rain.

Not just fecal matter though. All sorts of chemicals from illegal dumping and from over applying fertilizers and everything that men tend to do to the environment.

Yeah. It's not Californicates fault! Those other bad bad people are causing it too! Don't step in it though.

Who figured out the difference between dog and fish poop?

It doesn't surprise me at all!

The homeless issue in CA is an absolute nightmare. There are cities where you can drive along "tent cities" where they have setup shelter and it's always along areas where they have access to water. CA can only blame their situation on themselves. I had to leave as I couldn't feel as though my vote or views mattered. I sure as hell hope it stays in CA and doesn't migrate any further East.

Beautiful place, weather and all, but a chitty problem out there. Their leftist policies will implode on themselves.

Looks like maybe more of an "explode" problem than an implode.

Alabama has the same problem. Except it is the large number of septic systems in disrepair. Heavy rains wash it into the Mobile Bay watershed.

Texas has a huge problem in most of the larger cities. Sewer lines are usually gravity flow with manhole covers. When it rains the water goes into the sewer lines and they overwhelm the treatment plants and untreated sewage overflows into water ways. Don't hear much about it as it is so common. Fortunately the overflow is along with a lot of water so it is diluted.
