We were at Coronado (San Diego) in November. When ever it rains down there, the Tijuana River carries sewage from Mexico in to the Pacific and all the beaches have "Danger No Swimming" signs up for weeks. Some people ignore them and get in the ocean anyway. Feces in the water seems to be a thing in California.

Jason Ellis was talking on his show on XM a while back about swimming in the pacific after a rainstorm and he got a staph infection from it.
Team wolfs I had to perform. It took a minute to get it all in my mouth and another five to swallow it all.

All sorts of chemicals from illegal dumping and from over applying fertilizers and everything that men tend to do to the environment.

when I was a kid in school I did a science report about it. One of the biggest contaminants they found was actually from dog feces. People not cleaning up after their dogs was making the ocean sick. That was kind of my hypothesis of that paper LOL
