How many phases are there in life? I thought there was the kid phase and all that implies and the adult phase and all that implies, then retirement and/or death.

I often hear young people saying the next phase in my life I think I’ll......
And I hear retired people say, “I don’t know what my next phase in life holds.

I thought you were young and played, grew up got a job worked and raised kids/had a family/ grew old and died.
Where do all these people have the time or the extra money for all these extra phases?

It’s a new trend. Young’s have multiple phases. Many of the phases are during their lives living with their parents. High school phase, college phase, unemployed phase, back to college phase, lost my job phase, saving for a house phase, had to spend savings on the car phase.

I am currently waiting on my two grown kids to move out on their own phase.

I'm in the phase "old enough to know better but still to young to care" right now.
I dread the day I reach the phase "I wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then".

I liked it when the used phasers on Star Trek. I always would have liked to have one one to use on my kids and their phases. I could say “phase this”.

I'm noticing the absence of the:


"Dinosaur waiting for the comet" phase . . . . . . . which I seem to be in at this time.

I was always told there are 2 phases: First it's your brains and then your bowels. For some it's the other way around.

Actually there are a total of 2 phases for men.

The first is when you come out of 'IT' and the second is when you spend the rest of your life trying to get back in 'IT'.

It's different for everyone, middle age is the longest phase it seems.
