When I wear a blazer, sport coat or such, I'll wear a shoulder holster with full size 1911. Most days however, I wear a lightweight 38 revolver. OWB - position depends on what I'm wearing. I like that gun. But what about it with no hammer and maybe carry in your pocket. Thanks

Whatever you decide on, I recommend you practice drawing sitting, standing and prone to make sure you can do it efficiently.

My carry is a Ruger LCR .38special revolver and holster is Sticky Holster. I wear it on my side. Just gotta make sure I snug up the waistband on any jeans, pants, shorts, athletic pants. The Sticky Holster holds very well IMO. That is a very nice revolver ! Is that a 3” or smaller ? Thanks! 3" barrel. I decided against the snubnose just because of accuracy. I need to practice more.

I have a Sparks Executives Companion IWB and a Safariland OWB for my Sig 225. I do like the Safariland over the IWB.

I use a Versacarry holster OWB. Tried quite a few IWB options and they did not work for me. Winter I carry Glock 43; Summer Sig 365 or small frame .380.

I'm right handed and carry a P365 IWB with a Crossbreed Supertuck at 4-5 o'clock

Is there anywhere you can go to try different holster options? I'm about the same build as RonL and have bought several holsters and have not found one that is comfortable. I have G19, LC9, and Charter Arms Undercover Lite. Just trying to find something for one of those that I can comfortably carry.

If you are an infrequent or inexperienced shooter I would consider the fact that drawing from the small of your back has you sweeping yourself with the muzzle when you draw the firearm. Drawing in panic mode could have dire consequences. Just something to consider.......

I like that gun. But what about it with no hammer and maybe carry in your pocket. Thanks Have tried pocket carry with a hammerless small gun. Didn't care for it at all - personal preference more than anything else. I'm more comfortable with the OWB on a good belt, even though it's not quite as perfectly concealed. I can wear the Taurus with cargo shorts & a tshirt or polo shirt. If you're alert & know what to look for, you might notice a bulge under my shirt on the right side. But otherwise not obvious, and easier for me to draw than digging into a pocket holster, IWB or other deeper cover. Had an incident not too long ago where I thought a person was about to open fire on a crowd and had my revolver in hand (though discreetly down at my side) almost instantly. Turned out the driver who plowed through the crowd was having a seizure or something similar, so I reholstered just as quickly.

I've used a small leather belt holster.

That’s a good length , i have a Rossi .357mag , 6 shot , with a 3” barrel . Love shooting it and shoot pretty good with it . I’ve hit a 20oz sprite bottle at little over 50 ft , several times . But i never carry cause a 6 chamber or bigger is very hard to CC plus I haven’t found a proper holster for it . I’ve tried a couple but for OWB no way to properly CC . Plus it’s heavy loaded . Thought about a SOB holster but if i ever fell over backwards that being too close to the spine could cause severe damage ! I’ve looked on Rugers site but can’t seem to find the exact one you have . Can’t you share a link ? I prefer blued over chrome any day .

I have 3 of these, iwb or just behind the belt, match gun to holster then rub it well with neatsfoot oil till soaked, let it sit a day or 2 then go wear it. holds really well but draw is smooth and quick. very comfortable holsters. carry my glock 23 or 42 with these, have 2 for the 23 depending on where I need to wear it. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/2375172352![[Linked Image]](https://media.mwstatic.com/product-images/src/Primary/170/170575.jpg)
