I also think JJ is going to keep JG around and move him up to the front office.
JJ also knows that the Giants have interest so that could be another reason to keep him around. I believe the only way Garrett stays is as head coach, I do not think he is near the puppet that most portray him to be. If it walks like a puppet, talks like a puppet, and claps like a puppet; it’s a puppet.

I can’t imagine Garrett agreeing to a front office job. In his mind, he is a head coach and there will be other opportunities out there. A front office job would be the kiss of death to his career.

Changing coaches ain't no panacea.....only a handful of current NFL coaches are a game or three difference makers.....the rest are a season or two from getting replaced by some other hump that can't get the millionaires to do right on game day.... Who are the others besides Belicek? Belichick Tomlin Harbaugh Reid Payton That’s a good list. I agree. Mcvay

Those are second tier that might sustain what they are doing....everyone else in the league is a hump I’d put Pederson in the second group. 4-1 in the postseason, won a super bowl with a backup QB, won a playoff game the next year with a backup QB and made the playoffs this year with half his team on IR and won four straight games with his back against the wall, so the Super Bowl wasn’t just a fluke season, in my opinion. If McVay (who I like and think is a good coach) is in that group, Pederson should be too.

Channel 5 news said nothing will happen until at least tomorrow as the contract expires. They also said that itis not a matter of if, but when, he is gone.

Channel 5 news said nothing will happen until at least tomorrow as the contract expires. They also said that itis not a matter of if, but when, he is gone. Many other reports contradict that. He is currently meeting with the Jones' per reporters and many say his contract is up January 14th.
