 Limiting Out on Stocked Trout

Hey y'all! It's been a while, but I'm back. If you're like me, when you think of trout fishing, you think of fly fishing or throwing mepps spinners. Every year I've gone to fish for stocked trout, I've thrown lures and had zero luck. If you think about it, though, they're stocked... so they've been eating pellets their entire lives. Sure, there's the predator instinct they have that might cause them to hit a moving lure. But there's also the stocked "hey, look at that nugget floating there" instinct. This year I tried out some powerbait "trout nuggets" and had a lot of luck. Caught a two man limit in little over a half an hour!
