I wish they would find the man who's idea it was to put a V motor in a vehicle sideways, hang him till He's dead, draw and quarter him, and burn the leftovers. That is all.

I own nothing newer than a 1999 model vehicle. 94 Chevy S-10 blazer, 96 Dodge Dakota, and a 99 Pontiac Sunfire. All are fairly easy to work on.

3 are easy, the other 3 you have to remove half your car to get to.

You must be a great mechanic to keep those 3 running.

It could be 16 plugs in a Dodge.

Haven’t had any major problems with any of them. Have done regular oil changes, tune up, etc. had to replace the radiator in a couple of them and a rack and pinion on the dodge. Dakota is probably in the worse shape than any of them and that’s because my 2 boys have been driving it for a couple of years.

Could be worse. I have to remove 50lbs of metal for an oil change.

The difference in cost between me doing an oil change myself vs. taking it to my dealership is about $20. No mess, no fuss, no clean up. Well worth it to me. As for spark plugs. I don't keep them long enough to need changing.

Had one in a 74 ford pickup. Power nothing. So easy to work on.
