Anybody make it out in the last week or so, how is fishing and water temps? Just can’t convince myself to go wait in line at squaw tomorrow.

Lewisville: 51 degree water temps. Caught lots of hybrids a couple of weeks ago but haven’t bassfished. I would bet it’s quite tough, though.

I was on Athens last sat...50-53. Waco on Sunday...51-54. Clark on Tuesday...48-51. Waxahachie Christmas morning as well as Bardwell. Both were low 50’s.
Bass were more active in late morning on all lakes. Bass were also super shallow. In as little as 6 inches. Water warms faster there , I guess.
Eat. Sleep. Fish.

J D I haven’t been to Fairfield in two months, maybe more. I’d bet it’s similar water temps, but I’d think those bass were deeper.

Lake Worth was 52 at the casino ramp at 49-51 in the river Sunday. Bite slowed considerably since my last trip, probably more due to water color than temp... that rain muddied up some areas pretty good. Managed 8 fish in 4 hours with a 4 lbr for big fish of the day.

Went to Cedar Creek on Friday afternoon. Water temps were 55-56 main lake and 56-59 up in the creeks/coves. Fish were real shallow and hungry.
