Lake Fork - Fished the channel in 40’ of water. Black crappie are suspended high in schools 15 to 20’ down. Whites were deeper on the wood 30 to 35’ down.

The fish have been a bit finicky nipping at a bait often. This is the second time I’ve done this. If they nip at a bait I have just gone bigger. I thought to myself on Fork you have to keep what you catch and if they’re hungry they’ll react to a big bait or they won’t. So I dropped a 3” Slim Stick on the bigguns and moved, moved, moved covering lots of water!

Way to go Tommy!

Excellent Post.

We fished Fork today as well. 50. A few of ours are just under 2 pounds.

Your fish are much better quality for sure. You are a Legend!!

I'm pretty sure we drove right by you this morning, but I did not realize it was you or we would have stopped.

We are currently waiting on a Flatbed Tow Truck we blew a HUB on the way home.

I'll spare you the details.

Looking forward to a trip with you soon and you can teach these ACC fellas some Bonehead Tricks of the Trade.

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas!! woot

Always enjoy seeing your posts. Especially when you switch to those big baits. I've had guys look at what I have tied on and they look at me like I'm crazy. But, when I see shat the size of my pocket knife in the bellies of crappie you can bet I will have a 3-3.5" bait tied on the end of the line.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune HOGON.
