My wonderful wife of 22 years, who will only fish with a push button zebco, walked by the reel display at Academy today and was Aww struck by an iridescent purple/teal colored Revo...She actually asked the man if she could hold it!!...
It must have been Love at first sight because she said she would
learn to throw one if she had it...Now Iv never spent 250$ on any reel before but I told the man we would take one , however when she saw the price she backed off real quick and wouldn't let me....So does anyone know if I can get another less expensive reel this color or have one painted...it would be great for my wife to start fishing with a baitcaster!!

Hahaha...She is a very conservative and low maintenance Girl...Even though she knows what she wants when she wants it, I still have to push her to spend money on herself or accessorize.

Buy it for her for Christmas. Then buy her a good rod to put it on. That way when shes not fishing with you, you have another rod and reel to fish with. Thats what i do.

These guys here could help possibly you out for less than that reel especially if she prefers the pushbutton. Looks like $110 a reel give or take.
