I know everyone tries to get a perfect cutoff at the gas pump. Who is not doing that?? It HAS to be a multiple of 5, and I had to teach this to my wife because stopping at $21.37 is not at all acceptable. That's criminal. Glad you were able to show her the light. I go another step and record mileage in a log book in every vehicle and write said milege on the receipt - total mileage and since last fill up. Then zero the tripometer.

I try to see how long I can hold out in the fall before I turn on the heat and in the spring before I turn on the AC. But I don't know that that's so much of a game as it is masochistic. Me too, haven’t turned mine on yet this year
