It was an incredible two days last week in so many ways for my family.
I have not posted because I have actually been sick since Thursday. I was in bed all day for 3 days. Taking over the counter stuff.
I started stirring yesterday and today I saw the doctor and got a steroid shot. Thursday night through Sunday Morning was pretty rough. The stuff is going around so be careful.
We managed a Double Limit on Wednesday and 38 on Thursday. We actually left the lake early Thursday due to the bug I was contending with and losing.
In the Pics below there are 88 Crappie on the Table. We cleaned them all Thursday from 5pm-9pm all while I was circling the drain...how I managed to finish cleaning them I will never know.
On Thursday Morning at 8:33am I became a Grandpa for the second time and I now have a Granddaughter named Charlotte. 8 pounds and 4 ounces.
I was not at the hospital because I was already coming down with this bug and did not want to risk giving it to anyone at the hospital or my Granddaughter.
My wife who is a Paramedic told me to stay away.
Dad and I did the next best thing and went fishing.
Being that I still have the bug...I still have not risked meeting her in person.
The pics are of our Two Days of Fishing. We filled the Turkey Roaster.
My Granddaughter.
My Grandson who turned 9 yesterday holding my Granddaughter.
My wife holding my Granddaughter.
Needless to say we have pink all over our Christmas Tree and Pink lights lighting up the outside of my house.
An Incredible two days and I do not know where all the time goes honestly.
It feels like just yesterday I was holding my sons in my arms.
Now they are both grown men with families and careers.
Thank You for letting me share this with you all.
